Tour
The enrollment process begins with a tour of our school with Program Director Julie Liddle. The tour lasts approximately 2 hours and is a great opportunity to determine whether Eastern Ridge might be a good fit for your family. Tours take place throughout the school year; you can sign up via Sign-Up Genius.
Application
To be considered for admission, parents must submit an application along with a one-time, non-refundable processing fee.
Play Visit
A play visit gives us the opportunity to meet your child and for you to ask any additional questions you may have. Depending on a child’s comfort level in a new environment, we may suggest a second play visit.
Enrollment
Enrollment offers are made beginning in February and continue until all vacancies are filled. To secure your spot, paperwork and payment must be completed. Prospective families may continue to apply in order to remain in our applicant pool for unexpected midyear openings or for early consideration for admission the following school year.
Additional play visits and/or a gradual transition schedule may be suggested based on your child’s needs. Parent workshops and other family events help the entire family make a smooth transition.
Summer Camp
Summer camp details are typically available in late January or early February. Parents are invited — but not required — to attend a tour prior to enrollment. You may register for the entire summer (typically nine or ten weeks) or as little as two weeks. Camps are taught by the same teachers who are at Eastern Ridge during the regular school year with bonus support from teen volunteers who are often Eastern Ridge alumni.
