Eastern Ridge Nature Preschool was founded by a group of parents and teachers who are passionate about encouraging deep connection to self, others, and the natural world while fostering curiosity, self-expression, creativity, problem solving skills, and a lifelong love of learning. The Eastern Ridge School is managed by the board of directors, and the program director reports directly to the board.
We believe that a strong community is vital to our mission. Parents are highly involved with our school, and we host frequent community gatherings and volunteer workdays, arrange hikes, and go on weekend camping trips.
We are located on the border of Great Falls and Vienna, near Wolftrap Center for the Performing Arts and just minutes from Tyson’s Corner.
